Children learn best when their minds are set free to think differently and think beyond text books and fact sheets.

We want our pupils to think differently, to discover their talents, to develop confidence and to realise their dreams. Only in an environment where children feel cared for and valued will this happen.

Our Junior School is a caring and friendly environment where small class sizes allow pupils to grow and develop in surroundings that encourage them to have fun, to play, and to learn creatively. They are taught by superbly qualified class teachers and, from Year 4 upwards, individual subject teachers use the exceptional facilities of both the senior and the junior School to develop a love of learning.

We eat together, we pray together, and we stay together. All pupils have delicious, healthy lunches eaten with the Headmaster and other members of staff each day in the Great Hall. We debate, discuss and laugh together, and pupils also attend Chapel three times a week and an assembly where we celebrate successes across the school.

We have a structured sports programme with matches played against other schools and high level coaching. A range of after school activities includes Cubs, with the younger pupils joining our bespoke group, the Hedgehogs, which gives a focus on service, teamwork and hobbies.
