Head of Chemistry
Required for September 2016

We are seeking to appoint an inspirational and enthusiastic Chemist as the Head of Chemistry, to lead and develop the delivery of Chemistry up to ‘A’ level.

The successful candidate will have a love of the sciences in general, be able to teach pupils with a range of abilities, and foster high quality teaching and learning skills. We have spacious facilities.  There are six laboratories in the science department, with each teacher having their own lab. We also have a highly competent science technician to aid with preparing practical lessons.

You will:
• Be experienced and well-qualified to teach;
• Be ready and enthusiastic to make your impact in this thriving and successful school;
• Be ambitious for your students and your own professional development;
• Have a sense of humour and be able to work well in a close-knit team.

Dover College has a well-established and thriving extra-curricular programme, and the successful applicant will be expected to play an active part in this.

We also have a highly competent science technician to aid with preparing practical lessons.

You will:

• Be ready and enthusiastic to make your impact in this thriving and successful school;
• Be ambitious for your students and your own professional development;
• Have a sense of humour and be able to work well in a close-knit team.

Dover College is seeking an experienced and ‘hands-on’ groundsperson to join in the Summer term.  The successful candidate will co-ordinate a small team with the responsibility to maintain the College’s beautiful and historical grounds, sports pitches and gardens.

Dover College has a long standing arrangement with a company called Lattitude which sends us 2 gap students each year.

Please note that we do not consider individual applications for Gap Year Students.
