Development at Dover College
Development at Dover College is ongoing and includes long term plans. Some of these are funded from Dover College’s surplus and some by donations from sources such as the OD Trust.
Big projects have included the Tallis Music School which was relocated into new premises ready for the January 2011 launch and the Eccleshall Lecture Theatre in April 2013.
The Old Dovorian Trust (OD Trust)
In 1980, the Old Dovorians created a registered charity called The Old Dovorian Trust for the benefit of Dover College.
The trustees receive covenants, donations and legacies, and use them for any charitable purpose connected with Dover College, although funds could be used for any educational purpose.
In recent years, the Trust has bought sports and musical equipment and it is hoped that in future the Trust may be able to offer scholarships.
If you would like to help in any way, you will find forms of Covenant and Legacy on the Trust’s website, OD Trust Donations, or you can simply send a donation.
The Trustees are:
- Richard Robinson, OD, Leamington 1980 – 85 (Treasurer)
- John Sinclair, OD, School 1962 – 67 (Chairman)
