Dover College Transport Service
The Dover College Minibus Service aims to help reduce the stress of the school run by offering a service that accommodates the needs of our day pupils and their families.
There are 5 different routes across East Kent which are assessed every academic year to ensure we cater as much as possible to the needs of all pupils and their families.
Many pupils find that using our safe and reliable service instils greater confidence and independence.
Pupils can use the service from Reception and above. About 25% of all day pupils use this service.
We currently have a fleet of six minibuses and one people carrier, with experienced and qualified minibus drivers who provide a reliable and consistent service.
Depending on where the route begins, drivers will aim to collect your child ensuring that they are at school by 8.25am. For return journeys, drivers depart from the school at 5.45pm after activities and prep sessions are over.
The minibus service operates Monday to Friday in Term Time but depart at 4.30pm on the last Friday of every half-term and end of term.
Part-time and casual users
Part-time and Casual use of the school minibus service is possible but priority will be given to full-time users. Part-time users will be offered the option of becoming full-fare paying passengers before their seat is given to a new full-fare passenger.
Daily Transport Schedule
Please note that routes may vary over time as the population of the school changes. Destinations will be amended according to demand.
