Notes:

Financial awards linked with Scholarships are made annually and under normal circumstances take the form of a lump sum deduction from the full school fee. The financial value of scholarship awards will depend upon the quality of the candidate and is made at the Headmaster’s discretion.

Scholarship examinations normally take place at Dover College, where accommodation can be provided if required.

The performance of all Scholars is reviewed at the end of each academic year and the tenure of any award may be terminated or the value reduced if, in the Headmaster’s opinion, the Scholar’s industry or conduct has been unsatisfactory.

Current Dover College pupils may apply for a Scholarship in accordance with the details given above at 11+, 13+ and 16+.  In the absence of extraordinary circumstances, Scholars are expected to remain in the school and complete their education at Dover College.
