Dover College pupils to take part in BBC News project
Dover College pupils are taking part in a nationwide project organised by the BBC. The BBC News School Report initiative is designed to involve pupils with news items, understanding how stories are selected and reported in the various media. Our Year 8 pupils really enjoyed taking part in the 2011 News Report on Thursday 24th March. Their trials on the 17th February went well. See more details below.

Dame Kelly Holmes gives exclusive news to Dover College
Dame Kelly Holmes gave 12 year old Bethany from Dover College a scoop earlier today onboard the new P&O Ship The Spirit of Britain.

As Bethany asked Dame Kelly some questions about becoming Godmother to the new P&O flagship Dame Kelly told the Dover College reporter for BBC School News Report that she is to become an Ambassador and Mentor for the 2012 British Olympic Team.
