UK Visa and the Points Based System

The Points Based System (PBS) for student visas has been in place since March 2009. Any institution offering a place of study to a student must have a Sponsor Licence Number (SLN).

Dover College has been granted a Highly Trusted sponsor licence by the UK Borders Agency so we are able to provide all offered candidates with the required CAS to apply for a Tier 4 visa.

We do strongly advise all prospective students to be aware of the regular changes to the visa application process and read the information on the following web site: http://www.ukvisas.gov.uk/

Period of study at Dover College

Pupils would be expected to stay at Dover College all the way through to the end of Sixth Form study - Year 13. It is possible for Overseas pupils to stay for shorter periods of time - the minimum is normally a period of one term.

One term stays are a great way to experience life in a British Boarding School such as Dover College.
