Duckworth House has a mixture of day and boarding girls aged 11 to 18.

The House prides itself on its warm, friendly atmosphere, in which every girl is valued and instrumental in the smooth day to day running of the house.
Situated on the outskirts of "The Close," next to St Martin's House, Duckworth is accessible through a safe key coded door system. The comfortable and intimate Common Room provides a social hub to the house which includes TV, DVD and Video games consoles.
Life in the house is dependent on age with little boarding girls going to bed earlier than older girls. The big sister, little sister relationships in Duckworth are clearly visible.
