Admissions for Overseas pupils
Overseas pupils are encouraged to register as early as possible.
Entry to Dover College is for the senior school (year 7), ages 11 and upwards. In all cases it is necessary to complete the School’s Registration Form. Entry is normally in September but candidates will be considered for January and April starts subject to space being available.
For those considering entry to sixth form, early admission in year 11 may be possible to improve a pupil’s English in preparation for A Level study.
Copies of school reports must be sent to the Admissions Registrar together with a hand-written letter (minimum 200 words), in English, from the prospective pupil. It is suggested that the pupil describes his/her likes and dislikes, family life, and hobbies.
Each international pupil’s English is tested upon arrival at Dover College to help devise an appropriate programme of support, if required.
