Year 7 pupils join Dover College either from the Infant and Junior Department or from a number of primary schools. Your 11 to 12 year old child - boy or girl - will be allocated to Priory House where the Houseparents and friendly matron will take a good care of him/her.
Although many will have taken the Dover College 11+ scholarship trials test sometime prior to joining, entry to Dover College is not academically selective. We believe in educating the whole person.
Should you wish for your son or daughter to take part in the next scholarship trials, please contact the Admissions Officer.
Years 7 and 8 have a wide range of lessons that conform to the National Curriculum. Pupils are separated into different set levels according to their abilities and needs in Mathematics and Languages.
Priory pupils have the opportunity to go on team building trips. Here are some pictures to give you an idea of the fun to be had!
