Leamington House

Leamington House is a Day and Boarding House for boys aged 11 to 18 years old.

The Housemaster is Mr Cameron Henderson and he lives with his wife Veronique, their two children and Jack the Jack Russell.

The House has very proud traditions dating back to 1920. The name Leamington comes from the town Leamington Spa where the college was situated between 1917 to 1919 during World War 1.

The House is very proud of its sporting and academic achievements. Housemaster Mr Cameron Henderson enjoys seeing maximum participation in all House events on the games field and loves to polish the trophies that the boys have won! Mr Henderson is a keen musician and often accompanies the boys with the drums o rthe guitare.

House motto: Prudens ergo optimum.

The Inter House Steeplechase title is something the Leamington boys love to do well in. It is a great indicator of house spirit; preparations for the big event start weeks in advance.

The "Nigel Tuckwell Award" is presented to the boy, who in the eyes of the others in the House, contributes the most towards the welfare and spirit of Leamington behind the scenes. This award reflects the close-knit bond between all Leamintonians.

Mr Henderson is always looking for new ways to build upon the solid foundations the House enjoys. The games room hasa superb pool table, which looks great alongside the table football game. The lounge boasts a superb digital television equipped with Playstation 2.
