The most outstanding individuals and institutions that the independent sector has to offer have been recognised in the shortlist for the 2019 Tes Independent School Awards.
It’s been revealed that Dover College has been shortlisted for three awards, namely the Strategic Initiative of the Year Award for their new curriculum, the Senior Leadership Team of the Year Award, and the Boarding School of the Year Award..
Tes editor Ann Mroz said: “Independent education in this country is truly world class. It’s one of our great success stories. And those shortlisted for the Tes Independent School Awards are the crème de la crème.
“We received a record number of entries this year and the standard is the highest yet, so to be shortlisted is an extraordinary achievement for any school.”
Headmaster of Dover College, Gareth Doodes, explained “We are delighted to have been shortlisted for three TES awards, a testament to the extraordinary work that Dover College has been undertaking over the last four years to ensure that we’re a world class institution that promotes and celebrates excellence at the highest level’.
The winners will be revealed at a gala awards evening at the Grosvenor House Hotel, Park Lane, London on Friday 1 February 2019
