DOVER COLLEGE – THINKING DIFFERENTLY ABOUT POST 16 EDUCATION

22nd January 20

Dover College is proud of its extensive Sixth Form provision offering its pupils two pathways – the A Level+ focusing on highly academic subjects and the BTEC driven Careers Programme offering more vocational subjects. Dover College is leading the way and will be one of the very few independent schools ensuring that our pupils will be fully prepared for Higher Education as well as the world of work.

Both pathways introduce pupils to sector leading enrichment programmes in the form of a Thinking Differently Programme and Leadership & Service Programme. Sixth Form pupils will complete an Extended Project Qualification. With these enrichment options, the aim is that pupils will develop the critical skills to succeed in a workplace that is becoming ever more automated. The College is also part of the Round Square group of schools, firmly cementing the ideals of internationalism, democracy, environmental awareness, adventure, leadership and skills into our school’s overall provision
