The Secretary of State for Education has confirmed that all school buildings will be shut from the afternoon of Friday 20 March. The school will of course be open for the next two days for pupils to collect their belongings.
We will attempt to deliver lessons as normal although expect a number of parents to choose not to bring their children into school. We fully understand and respect whatever decision a parent comes to.
IF YOU ARE AN NHS KEYWORKER AND REQUIRE EXTRA SUPPORT PLEASE CONTACT THE HEADMASTER DIRECTLY SO WE CAN PUT ARRANGEMENTS IN PLACE FOR YOU OVER THE COMING PERIOD.
From Monday morning the College will teach on its digital e-learning platform. Please note that we will continue to house and support overseas boarders until their flights leave in the coming week. Please direct any boarding queries to your child’s Housemaster / Housemistress.
We are awaiting news from the exam boards as to what impact this decision might have on the summer exams. Immediately we are aware, we will let parents know as a matter of priority.
Keep well in this challenging time. We at the College are all here for you, and especially for your children.
