When you are hundreds of miles away from home the little things can make a big difference to our international boarding pupils. School House boarder KJ is from Nigeria and after each trip home to his family he would often bring back a traditional Nigerian stew which proved very popular with his friends. Unfortunately it proved difficult to get hold of in England. So when of our junior school parents was discussing that her mother was visiting from Nigeria and was staying for a while, we asked if she could cook up a batch of the stew for KJ. She readily agreed and yesterday two large pots of the stew arrived. So we had excited boys in the house and an amazing smell as we heated up the stew. As you can see it went down very well and thank you letters have been sent by the boys. Here you can see KJ polishing off the last of the stew. School House would like to thank Henrietta for her wonderful cooking skills and amazing generosity.
