Dover College hosts regular Open Days giving prospective parents the ideal opportunity to experience the opportunities the College has to offer. We keep our Open Days small to enable visitors the opportunity to talk to members of staff and pupils. Open Days must be booked in advance.
Held once a term, the morning begins with a short presentation from the Headmaster followed by a talk from the Head Boy or Head Girl. Tailored tours are then conducted with pupils from both the Prep and Senior schools dependent upon the age of your child.
You’ll visit academic departments with the opportunity to meet staff, visit a boarding house and experience a handful of the activities and facilities the College has to offer.
Following the tour, lunch will be served in the College Refectory where you’ll be able to meet with Heads of Department over a delicious buffet.
Whole School Open Days are open to all years of entry from age 3.
Due to the current unprecedented times we are unable to host our tradition Open Day on Saturday 16th May 2020 however, we are delighted to be hosting both a Prep School and a Senior School Virtual Open Morning in its place. Further details can be found here:
Places at Open Days are limited, so must be booked in advance by contacting the Admissions Office via firstname.lastname@example.org or 01304 244522.
Should our Open Days not fall at a convenient time, our Admissions office is more than happy to arrange an Admissions visit which are done on an individual, tailor-made basis to take into account both the prospective pupils entry point and interests.
Any visit will include an introduction with a member of the Senior Leadership Team and a tour of the College to include a boarding house should you be looking at a boarding place. You will have the opportunity to meet with Heads of Department and our Head of Learning Support if required.
We look forward to meeting you. If you wish to book a visit, a place at one of our Open Days or have any questions, please contact us via email@example.com or 01304 244522.
