The Board of Governors at Dover College are looking to appoint a new Head to succeed Gareth Doodes following his appointment as Headmaster at The King’s School, Worcester after five years of transformational and driven leadership.

Grounds and Garden Apprentice 

Job Start – January 2020

Dover College is looking for a hard working apprentice who is able to handle the day-to-day tasks necessary to keep the College gardens and ground looking their best.   This sort of work requires the successful candidate to have a strong sense of attention to detail, enthusiasm, and energy and a ‘can do attitude’.

The ideal person will have initiative, will be willing to collaborate, and possesses the ideal balance of capability and potential for future advancement.  The ability to work in a team is crucial. You will therefore also have a professional appearance and attitude.

Candidates must have achieved both English and Maths GCSE or equivalent to A-D or 4-9.  Proof of this will be required at interview.

The role is Full time 40 hours per week with an entitlement to 26 days paid holiday plus paid bank holidays.
